Is it easier to trust the process when creating a painting than it is to trust life itself? When I paint, I know there will be moments of uncertainty. Layers are added, changed, covered, and revealed. Not everything makes sense at first, yet somehow I trust that the painting will show me the way. Life is art, and art is life. Their similarities can be found everywhere. One teaches the other, and vice versa. The complexity of both is endlessly fascinating. When we can't yet se
