I have always done crafts and got an outlet for my creativity in different ways. I paint mostly acrylics, but it might be a pastel or a watercolor now and then, for the sake of variety. In acrylic, what appeals to me the most is the possibility that it doesn't have to be good, I get to paint badly and fail, do it again and again, because I can always paint over what didn't turn out well! 

 

I grew up on a farm in Finland and moved to Sweden in 2001. From my home country I have brought many good things with me, such as Finnish Sisu, sauna tradition and rye sourdough baking. I am grateful for all the good tools I received growing up.

 

I have learned humility but also the belief that everything is possible and not least I have inherited craftsmanship and creativity in various forms from my family and relatives. It's almost as I feel it is now, through me it will be allowed to flow out in image form even a few generations back!

 

Animals and nature are close to my heart and it is precisely nature that is my greatest source of inspiration! There I can find peace and quiet, beauty and stillness.
