I grew up on a farm in Finland and moved to Sweden in 2001. I bring with me many valuable things from my homeland, such as the Finnish sisu, the sauna tradition and the art of baking rye sourdough bread. I am deeply grateful for the tools and lessons my upbringing has given me, such as humility and the belief that anything is possible!

I have inherited craftsmanship and creativity in many different forms from my family and relatives. It almost feels as if I now, through my art, get to be a channel for the creativity that has existed for generations before me – that it is now allowed to flow forward in visual form.

Animals and nature are close to my heart. There I find peace, tranquility, beauty and tranquility.

Another way for me to find balance and harmony is through my yoga practice. When I began my yoga journey in 1999, I soon realized that it was one of the best investments of my life. It is difficult to describe everything yoga has given me – it is so much! Yoga is life. For the past 20 years, I have also had the privilege of taking on the role of a yoga teacher, something for which I am incredibly grateful.

My art, the names of my works and the descriptions I write reflect my outlook on life. I see my art as a form of spiritual art, filled with reflections on life's ups and downs. Life is a constantly fascinating journey, where every challenge and every success carries lessons. For me, the most important thing is to continue to "work on yourself" every day and grow as a person. Then I can contribute to a better world.
