Life vs. art.

Is it easier to trust the process when creating a painting than it is to trust life itself?

When I paint, I know there will be moments of uncertainty. Layers are added, changed, covered, and revealed. Not everything makes sense at first, yet somehow I trust that the painting will show me the way.

Life is art, and art is life. Their similarities can be found everywhere. One teaches the other, and vice versa. The complexity of both is endlessly fascinating.

When we can't yet see the bigger picture, when hope feels distant, trusting the process becomes much harder. We want answers. We want certainty. We want to know that everything will be okay.

Trusting life is easier said than done.

And yet, perhaps life unfolds much like a painting—one layer at a time. We don't need to see the finished masterpiece to take the next brushstroke.

Maybe faith isn't about knowing where we're going.

Maybe it's about taking the next step anyway, trusting that each layer has its purpose, even before we can see the whole picture. ✨

These words beautifully describe the creative process behind one of my latest paintings.

It went through moments of doubt, uncertainty, and complete messiness before everything gradually fell into place. Looking at it now, it's hard to believe how different it once looked. Today, this painting has already touched many hearts and has become one of my most loved pieces.

So I'd like to leave you with these words:

Keep going.

Because you can.

And remember—you are the creator.

Not only of your art, but of your life.

Trust the process, even when you can't yet see the whole picture.
